About conference

Polish Optical Conference is organized every two years by the Optics Division of Polish Physical Society. The conference aims to integrate the Polish opticians. Provides a platform to meet and exchange views for wide range of people, for whom the development of Polish scientific thought, engineering and teaching in the field of optics is important. The conference combines a high level of expertise with as wide range of subjects as possible to be representative for the entire Polish optics. Carefully selected invited lectures allow young scientists commencing work to learn topics of research in other centers in the country.

The conference is also one of the few forums in which Polish language in optics is promoted.

Topics of the Conference:

  • quantum optics
  • nonlinear optics
  • physics, optics and technology of lasers, and other sources of coherent radiation
  • optoelectronics and photonics
  • fiber optics
  • optical integrated circuits
  • medical optics
  • instrumental optics
  • optical spectroscopy
  • optical metrology
  • new optical materials
  • applications of optics
  • didactics of optics
